Gopi odada Ahem’in yemek yemesi için ona ısrar ederken Ahem yine sertleşip benim halimden sana ne diyerek onun kalbini kırar. Zavallı Gopi’nin kafasını eğip arkasını dönerken gözünden yaş gelir. Rashi ise odasına giderken Nani’nin kapısını açık görüp içeri dalar. Hemen sandığı açarak içindeki değerli mücevherleri üstüne alır. Tam o sırada Kokila içeri girip onu azarlamaya başlar. Rashi çığlıklarla uyandığında her şeyin rüya olduğunu anlar. Daha sonra Nani’ye verilecek bir hediye almadığını hatırlayıp endişelenmeye başlar.
Ertesi gün Nani tapınaktayken Gopi ona harika hediyeler sunup gözüne girerken Rashi uyduruktan bir kupa alıp Nani’ye verir. Nani daha kupayı alamadan kupa yere düşüp kırılır. Rashi işte şimdi ayvayı yedik artık o sandığı rüyamda görürüm diye geçirir. Nani, Gopi ve Rashi’nin rekabetinin sonlandığını söyleyip artık sandığı birinize vereceğim der. Gopi gidip bütün aileyi salona toplar. Kokila hariç bütün aile çok heyecanlıdır. Kokila sandığı Gopi’nin alacağına kesin gözüyle bakarak hiç istifini bozmaz.
Evde adeta zaman durmuş herkes Nani’nin sandığı kime vereceğini merak etmeye başlamıştı. Nani tam ağzını açacakken boğazı düğümlenir ve öksürerek lafını bitiremez. Herkesin heyecanı iki kat artarken Gopi, Nani’ye su verip nefes almasını sağlar. Nani tekrar söze başlayıp iki bahunun da kendisi için yaptıklarını hatırlatır. Evde nefesler kesilmişken Nani sonunda sandığı Rashi’ye verir.

Rashi mutfakta sandıktan çıkanlar için üzülürken Hetal’in geldiğini görüp sahte bir mutluluk takınır. Kokila ise bu olayın içinde bir iş olduğunu düşünüp Nani ile mandirde konuşmaya başlar. Ona benim gelinimi seçmeyerek bana hakaret ettin der ve sitem eder. Nani üzülürken Kokila oradan ayrılır.
Gopi koridorda giderken Rashi’ye onun adına mutlu olduğunu söyleyip Rashi’yi bir kez daha şaşırtır. Rashi odasına gidince idolü dolabına koyup üzülmeyi keser ve belki de ilk defa elinde olan bir şey için mutlu olmaya çalışır. Kinjal ile arkadaşları ise bir mağazaya gelip pahalı birer sari alırlar.
Kinjal, Daval’ın parası olmadığını hatırlayıp üzülse de arkadaşlarına ayak uydurmak için mecburen sari (Elbise) alır. Modi evinde ise Ahem, Kokila’nın yemek yemediğini fark edip onun için endişelense de Kokila onu ikna edip üzülmemesini söyler. Kokila kitabı aldığında şok olur çünkü kitapta kardeşinin fotoğrafı vardır. Nani eğer onu senden ayırdığımı düşünüyorsan yanılıyorsun seni daha çok sevdiğim için hep sana katı davrandım diyerek Kokila’nın gönlünü hoş eder. Daha sonra Gopi eşiyle ilişkisinde hiç iyi değil ancak Rashi Jigar ile mükemmel bir biçimde anlaşıyor. Bu yüzden sandığı ona verdim deyip ayrılır.
Nani ertesi gün evden ayrılacağını söyleyip Gopi’den kendisine erzak vermesini ister. Daha sonra onu mandire gönderip çantasını getirmesini söyler.
